Architectural Collection |
The Architectural Collection offers sliding
doors and fixed-glass panels in stock sizes up to ten feet tall. These
standard sizes are those most commonly used in residential
construction. They make installation easy and predictable in new
construction or while up-fitting existing property.
Stiles are made of an aluminum/wood composite for true integrity. Their
strength lets you place Sliding Visions glass systems in some of the
exposed locations where homeowners want a broad view--mountain,
hillside, coastline, or lakefront sites.
The Newlar™ aluminum
exterior finish is available in four stock
colors that compliment any exterior application. For energy
efficiency, the Newlar™
finish and Cardinal Low-E IG glass let the
Architectural Collection qualify for Green Building Credits.
On the interior, the Architectural Collection will delight you
visually. It features vertical-grain Douglas fir molding, our handsome standard
door hardware selection and the stainless-steel
“Barely There”™
track system. This elegant track system is slightly recessed, lying
flush with the floor so that there is no ugly protruding standard track
to trip over. It provides for a smooth expanse of floor on either side
of the glass door.

The architectural collection is limited to the sizes and configurations
of lift and slide (or hinged Entry) door systems shown in the following
tables. |
