Loewen uses only extruded aluminum cladding to better protect your window and door exteriors — as well as to eliminate the need for painting. Our thick extruded aluminum cladding retains its shape, resists denting, and lasts longer than roll-formed aluminum. In addition, Loewen’s window cladding is set away from the underlying wood, creating an air space that improves thermal performance.

The broad variation in Loewen sizes, shapes and designs and the demanding environmental conditions that our product encounters requires an alloy that has the ability to:

METAL CLADDING OPTIONS

There are better things to do in life than paint. That’s why Loewen offers a low maintenance option — windows and doors with extruded aluminum exteriors. As you can see, our aluminum cladding is available in a wide array of beautiful, durable colors. All colors are created from Kynar-based paint that has been enhanced with ceramic pigmentation — meaning our finishes are better able to stand up to direct sunlight, extreme temperature variations and acidic pollutants without fading.

But making our windows tough on the outside does not mean we ever compromise on the inside. All interior wood surfaces of Loewen metal clad windows retain the beauty of natural Coastal Douglas Fir or optional Mahogany.
