Anodized Windows Finishes

The Custom Window WarmView 5000 window system is available in two different types of finishes, anodized or Kynar painted.

Anodizing is an electrochemical process that thickens and toughens the naturally occurring protective oxide. The resulting finish, depending on the process, is the second hardest substance known to man, second only to the diamond. Anodizing is the most durable finish in high traffic areas, and provides a more "industrial" look to the project. Anodized finishes are available in clear, bronze or black hues. They are not offered with a factory warranty, and may fade over time.

It is important to note that anodizing is not an exact science. The finish hue may vary from part to part within a window system.

Anodize samples are always shown in a "range" from the lightest possible tint to the darkest possible tint. The manufacture will only guarantee that the finish will fall within that range.

  • Wears well
  • Can have slight color variances from piece to piece

Kynar painted
