Loewen Cyprium Living Finishes

Cyprium was the name ancient Romans gave to the copper that was first mined in Cyprus.The Cyprium Collection features copper and bronze clad windows and doors. The Cyprium Collection is unique in profile and construction. With soldered exterior joints, and rich tactile depth the Cyprium Collection is artisanal in its detail. These hand-wrought living surfaces will develope distinctive patinas over time and define the aesthetic chracter of the home to which the belong.

Copper and Bronze Cladding System

The Cyprium Collection is available in Awning, Casment, Terrace Door, Picture and Specialty. Nominal .040" thick copper and bronze is used to craft a cladding of exceptional strenghth for sash and frame segments as well as Simulated Divided Lite bars.
A palette of custom patinas is available.

Distinct Picture/Direct Set Profiles

Picture/Direct Set (fixed, non-sashed unites) offer an even deeper offset from the edge of the sill, head and frame members to the vertical plane of the glass.

Recessed Mullion

Recessed from the face of the frame and sill, this classic mullion detail combines visual harmony with functional design. Cyprium's deep sills are well suited to masonry wall construction.

Hand-fitted sill caps are soldered in place for structural integrity and a finished appearance
